Megan McGinnis is a Cranbrook Academy of Art graduate with an MFA in painting. She spent her postgraduate years living and working in New York City, but now calls Columbus home. Using her own children as subjects, her most recent graphite works aim to capture the pivotal moments in time that sit somewhere between early core memory and the truth of experience. She invites viewers to contemplate the essence of these transitions, as the delicacy and time-consuming process of this medium allows for a sort of meditation - a chance to connect to these intimate moments.
